Product Management

Our product portfolio is as diverse as the various topics around our products. Market and competition monitoring, business cases and participation in development projects - all thes aspects are the focus of our product managers.

Product Development

Innovative products that match the needs of our customers are the driving force behind our company. Our designers and development engineers work in specialised teams on the new and further development of our diverse product groups – in close co-ordination with colleagues from Product Management, Quality Assurance etc.

Production

Our success is based on our safe, high-quality and reliable products. The foundations are laid for this in their production: Whether you work as a machine and plant operator, an assembly worker or a painter – we offer you a wide range of possible job opportunities in the production environment.

Sales and Marketing

Even the successful products of a global market leader need to be marketed and distributed. Local needs must be recognised and fulfilled. That’s why sales and marketing work hand in hand. The sales department looks after our global customers by phone or on site, while the customer service department supports customers from the German location. The marketing department helps to present the products in their very best light and prepare the information required by our customers.

Procurement

In order to be able to sell our products as cost-effectively as possible, we would like to procure the necessary raw materials, auxiliary materials and operating materials as cheaply as possible, while still maintaining a high quality. As an employee in Procurement, you are therefore an important part of the value chain and must ensure that there is always sufficient material available.

Logistics

The satisfaction of our customers is crucial to our success. From the forklift driver to the employees in order processing and production control, our logistics team ensures that the desired product is available to our customers on schedule – often just-in-time.

IT

Digitalisation is progressing noticeably and is impacting our daily work. Information and communication technology makes our day-to-day work easier and enables the securing and further development of production and business processes through ERP systems. But the processes are only as good as the clever minds behind them. We need IT specialists in a variety of fields at JOST.

Technical Service

All questions concerning commissioning, repair and maintenance are answered by our Technical Service department. In addition, the employees of the Technical Service department offer customer trainings to ensure the safe application of JOST products.

Finance & Controlling

This increasingly complex world needs people who see the bigger picture. We count on committed personalities with an affinity for numbers and excellent analytical skills. The monitoring of our customer and creditor invoices is just as important as the number-based analysis and control of our parent company and its subsidiaries.

Test department

Safety-critical products like ours must be extensively checked and tested before they go on sale. Every day, employees give their all to test the longevity and resilience of the products inside and out.

Quality

All processes and procedures are monitored worldwide by Quality Management. This ensures that we do justice to our certifications and our customers’ expectations. Of course, product quality also plays an important role and employees in the Quality Assurance department pay particular attention to this. Our purchased parts and our own products are extensively tested and measures for the prevention of errors are derived.

Human Resources

The people we work with are very important to us. We know that the success of our business is down to our employees and that they are committed to helping the business grow. Our human resources department deals with a wide range of tasks from recruiting and supporting new employees to individualised career planning.
